A ward that is not cleaned properly is a ward where people wait longer for discharge. Hospital services are not the glamorous part of healthcare, and they are the part that keeps it running.
If you want work with clear hours, a visible result at the end of your shift, and a supervisor role in a couple of years, this is the most direct route of anything on this site.
What you will actually do
- Deliver catering, domestic, portering or maintenance tasks to schedule
- Follow infection-control and health-and-safety procedure at all times
- Report hazards, faults and stock shortfalls the same shift
- Support clinical areas during peak demand
What we need from you
- No formal qualification needed for most posts
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete enhanced checks
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work weekends and nights
