Five steps, and none of them cost you money

Most people who join us on the shop floor are still here six years later. This is the route they took.

  1. Care Certificate

    No qualifications needed to start. We fund it and you complete it in your first three months, during paid hours.

  2. NVQ Level 2, then Level 3

    Funded and paid, with protected study time. Level 3 is what most employers mean when they ask for 'NVQ qualified'.

  3. Senior HCA or team leader

    Internal step-up. No external application, no interview with a panel — a conversation and a written plan.

  4. Registered Nursing degree

    For HCAs who want the PIN. Three years part-time, employer funded, with a guaranteed placement afterwards.

  5. Specialist and advanced practice

    For nurses: mental health, MSK, nurse practitioner. Prescribing authority, a clinic list and a budget you control.

Every step is paid through study time

Clinical staff get two half-days a week in hours, written into the rota rather than added to it. That means it happens, which is the only way learning time is real.
